Everton announce Sean Dyche as new manager

Everton are set to confirm 51 year-old Sean Dyche as the new manager of Everton, replacing Frank Lampard who was sacked last Monday.

Dyche, has been out of work since being sacked by Burnley last April but has been keen to get back into work with a club like Everton – even in their current state- an appealing proposition.

Everton will need Dyche to hit the ground running with the club struggling in the relegation zone, having not won since beating Palace back in October.

Some Everton fans were not keen, on Sean Dyche, with other’s preferring fan favourite Duncan Ferguson. However, that idea was halted after Ferguson was appointed Forest Green Rovers manager last week.
