Catfish and the Bottlemen to headline Liverpool festival

The indie band from Wales Catfish and the Bottlemen are set to be the headliners of the ‘In the park festival.’

The festival will take place in Sefton park located in South Liverpool from the 11th to the 14th of July and comes after the success of the one the waterfront festival that takes place at the Liverpool Docks.

The festival is set to have a 40,000 capacity with various different genres.

The headliners, Catfish and the Bottlemen are best known for their songs ‘Kathleen’ and ‘cocoon’ and are set to kick the festival off on the Thursday the 11th of July.

The band had teased a Liverpool appearance on their instagram four days prior to this announcement getting local fans excited for what was to come.

The presale is set to go on sale on Wednesday the 17th of April at 10am BST, with the general on sale tickets to go on sale on Friday the 19th of April.
